OUR STORY

Husband and wife team, Stuart and Nicky, are the proud, hands-on owners of Stuart Lowen Quality Butcher and Farm Shop in Minehead. They opened the shop in Hawksworth Road in 2005 and have worked hard to build the business to where it is today. 

“We do our best to source all our meat from the fantastic range of farms in the local area and strive only to deal with suppliers that have impeccable records for standards of animal welfare - something which any expert will tell you is reflected in the quality of the end product. Having sourced meat of the finest quality, we then do our very best to offer a service to match!”

In recent years Stuart and Nicky have committed to reducing the environmental impact of the shop, and strive to offer customers a better way to shop.

“Initially we aimed to simply cut down on waste and packaging, but we quickly became passionate about offering products that have less impact on our environment, and now it has become a key part of our ethos.”
